Vehicular Eluding Colorado: Suspects In Aurora Chase Reached Speeds Of 100mph
According to CBS News Denver, Reports that two people are in custody after allegedly speeding off in a stolen car when police in Aurora tried to pull them over Thursday morning. Officers tried to do a roadside stop at East Colfax Avenue and North Havana Street after determining the car was stolen in an armed carjacking in Glendale earlier in the morning. Officers began chasing the car and followed it onto Interstate 225 and then Interstate 70. Speeds of up to 100 mph were reached. Officers then did a pit maneuver and the car went off the side of the road into a field.
